Windows 7 looks to be a promising operating system. Almost all agree it will beat the socks off of Vista and will be able to do a much better job of getting users away from the addictive Windows XP. I guess the question is, has windows 7 already been priced into the stock? I think it has to some degree but still has some more room to run especially since I don't think it has run up as much as stock in the technology sector (i.e. Google or Apple).

Microsoft (MSFT) this afternoon has invited reporters to a press event to be held 10 a.m. Pacific time next Wednesday in San Francisco. to “showcase and demo several new Bing features.”
Just what they’ll be, I dunno. But if anyone wants to guess what the company’s search engine has planned - or if someone who actually knows wants to provide a leak - I’m all ears.

Hewlett-Packard reports growth in profit and operating margin in Q4
Filed under: Earnings reports, Microsoft (MSFT), Cisco Systems (CSCO), Dell (DELL), Hewlett-Packard (HPQ), International Business Machines (IBM), Technology  Hewlett-Packard (HPQ), the famous maker of printers and PCs, and a colleague of entities such as Microsoft (MSFT), Dell (DELL), and International Business Machines (IBM), issued Q4 results on Monday after the end of the trading day. Revenues didn't impress me, as sales saw a decline of 8%. Net income, however, was better. On an adjusted basis, earnings per share increased 11% to $1.14.

 News Corp. (NASDAQ:NWSA) won't stand a chance if it pulls its precious WSJ.com, New York Post, Hulu.com or anything else from Google News (NASDAQ:GOOG). Without traffic, you have nothing.
Google is SEARCH and they are NEWS. Murdoch do you dare to tangle with the online juggernaut that commands 65 to 70% of the world's search?
Yea, try it with Microsoft's (NASDAQ:MSFT) Bing for a while, that will work great.
