...is that MS is a damn smart and very large tech company. It is exactly where it ought to be given the closest probable model of a real-time statistical field by the most error-resilient evolution with a high fitness ratio as of T minus 6 months.
In other words...they make stuff and have stuff to predict paths of least resistance with rather not-bad accuracy. Remember that cool little accounting thing they did several years ago and had some bazillion dollar cash reserve pop out of the ether?
Its the world running on micro~software.......ta-da!

xbox 360 is the console to have in the year forward. office 2007 is finally entering the office world and will be very profitable. vista is also gaining market share.

I can see MSFT dipping back to 28 and sticking around there for a good year. Not that i agree with it but the news that pushed it to 52 week highs was not, in hindsight, worth that climb. Also Vista is terrible. I'm going to closely watch how server 2008 does.

It is a big time for Microsoft. With the latest deal with Facebook, they will boos their position in search, ads on the Internet. They also just released Halo which boosted their stock. The sales of Vista are growing steadily, despite a slow start, Vista seems to have a solid market and as a personal user of it, I see it only growing of market share.
