Buy at 22.84 this morning.  Hold it until the quarter earning are out in about 2 days.  This stock will rise close to 30.  The company is an interactive online community in China.  They have subsidiaries that offer game online interaction.  They get their revenues from the fees they charge on game playing.

An interesting blurb in the New York Times in one of the sectors still exhibiting relatively decent (non government) performance in the U.S. - video games.  Electronic Arts (ERTS) just seems to have lost its way - and judging by its stock, it seems to have missed the notice that we're in a new bull market.




Meanwhile Activision Blizzard (ATVI) took the reigns of leadership during this last console cycle - however the stock has fallen off a cliff of late, and really has been range bound.




Smaller players like Take Two (TTWO) and THQ (THQI) seem to rely on just 1 or 2 big hits (or busts) ... o...

We are downgrading Sohu.com Inc. (SOHU) to Underperform from our pervious Neutral rating and reducing our six-month price target to $45, approximately 10.3x 2010 earnings, a discount to the industry average. We expect the stock to continue trading at a discount.

NetEase Slides: China Agency Rejects World of Warcraft

As several analysts note this morning, China’s General Administration of Press and Publication (known as GAPP) has rejected an application from NetEase (NTES) seeking approval for World of Warcraft. The review process is now officially terminated. Goldman Sachs analyst Richard Ji notes that the company is required to stop the commercialization of WoW in China, and to end registration of new accounts immediately.

Last month, GAPP moved to tighten the rules on a ban in China on foreign content in video games; and of course, WoW is a property controlled by Activision Blizzard (ATVI).

China Moves To Ban Foreign Video Games; NTES, ATVI Slide

The video gaming sector is grappling with China’s new, stricter interpretation of a ban on the involvement of foreign companies in the sector in China. In particular, the move could force Netease (NTES) to take its version of World of Warcraft offline, according to research firm Wedge MKI. That would also have negative implications for Activision (ATVI), which licenses the game to Netease.
