Netgear Q1 Misses On Weakness In U.K., U.S.

Netgear (NTGR) shares are down sharply in later trading after the company reported weaker-than-expected results for the first quarter.

Netgear reported Q1 revenue of $198.2 million, below the Street consensus of $203.7 million. Non-GAAP EPS of 39 cents missed the Street number by four cents.

Cisco Increases Buyback by $10 Billion (CSCO)

Cisco Systems (NDAQ:CSCO) shares rallied today after the company announced that its board authorized up to $10 billion in additional share repurchases of its common stock with an indefinite time period. This brings the total authorized amount under the program to $62 billion if it is fully completed.
