Here are the stocks added to the Zacks #5 Rank ("strong sell") List today:

O2Micro (OIIM) this morning said Q2 revenues will beat Street expectations by a significant margin. The company, which makes power management and security semiconductors, sees revenue for the quarter of $34 million; the Street has been looking for $28.5 million. The new forecast would be a 47% sequential increase from the first quarter. The company said gross margin should be at the high-end of expectations, while operating expenses should be consistent with its original targets.

The city that never sleeps is Las Vegas, not New York.

At least, that’s the case when the Consumer Electronics Show is in town.

After the keynote tonight, I headed over to the Mirage for the annual Digital Experience mini-tradeshow. The event was a lot like the CES Unveiled event last night, but several times larger. Here are a few things I learned while wandering around taking notes and eating chicken wings and cheese:

O2 Micro (OIIM), a chip company focused on power management and security components, said it now sees Q4 revenues of $21 million to $22 million, down a whopping 42%-46% sequentially from Q3. The company blames “inventory adjustments in the supply chain.” The Street consensus was for $32.3 million. O2 also said it sees gross margin at the low end of its target range of 55%-60% as fixed costs are spread over a lower revenue base.
