Clearwire Names Morrow CEO; Wolff Now Co-Chair

Clearwire (CLWR) this afternoon announced that its board has named William T. Morrow as CEO, effective immediately. He succeeds Benjamin Wolff, who becomes co-Chairman with Craig McCaw.
Morrow, 49, over the summer stepped down as CEO of Pacific Gas & Electric (PCG). Before that, he had a number of senior positions at Vodafone (VOD).
In today’s regular session, CLWR rose 11 cents, or 3.9%, to $2.93.
