MetroPCS logoThere has been more progress with niche mobile play MetroPCS Communications (PCS), first discussed here on December 21, 2009, t a price of $7.55.

Last autumn, MetroPCS powered through key, psychological resistance at $10, and this winter put it in the rear-view mirror, testing $14 before pulling back slightly, and I obviously still like the shares here.

Note: I consider MetroPCS to be a high-risk stock not suitable for low/moderate-risk investors.

Generally, I stay away from stocks under $10. Stocks under $10 are "penny stocks," from an institutional investor standpoint -- and it's institutional investors who set the tone for stock prices and the market.

However, there are exceptions to my $10 rule, and MetroPCS Communications Inc. (PCS) is one and is worth a review.

Metro is the service I personally use, although I do not own (PCS) stock, It has been on my radar. Strong resistants between 11.50 and 12.50. I would think this is very close to the bottom. Buy in low sell high, Gain a couple bucks with in 30 days maybe 16.50 earn 4.00 dollars and press that button. It is like playing deal or no deal. Why did'nt I buy in.  Billions of monies, I am still a rookie. Give one to the beachboy, hey wait what about sprint. Billions! Is this seventy-five words yet.

Winning fans on Wall Street for its business model of flat-rate wireless-communication services with no signed contract, MetroPCS opened at $25.10 a share, above its $23 IPO price. The shares climbed to end their first session at $27.40.
With 32 million shares changing hands by the end of the day, the IPO was among the volume leaders on the New York Stock Exchange.
Brian Hamilton of research and software firm Sageworks said the IPO is rallying because of the company's track record of profitability in a sector that's not always profitable.
