QLogic FY Q2 Revs, Profits Top Consensus

QLogic (QLGC) this afternoon posted revenue for its fiscal second quarter ended September 27 of $131.5 million, down from $171.2 million a year ago, but up 7% sequentially and above the Street at $125.7 million. Per-share non-GAAP profits of 21 cents a share beat the Street by three cents.
In late trading, QLGC is down 13 cents, or 0.7%, to $17.95.

QLogic Rises As RBC Capital Turns Bullish, Ups Target

RBC Capital analyst Amit Daryanani this morning raised his rating on QLogic (QLGC) to Outperform from Sector Perform, lifting his price target to $17, from $15. The stock closed yesterday at $13.37.
