Research In Motion's Bumpy Uptrend Continues
RIMM
Filed under: Research in Motion (RIMM), Stocks to Buy The shares of Research In Motion (RIMM), which I first wrote about on May 5, 2009, at a price of $77.07, remain a stock that's decidedly not for the squeamish.
RIM's roller-coaster rebound continued during the winter, with the stock rising from $61 to test $70 resistance, before retreating back to $62. <>RIM's 2011 revenue will likely jump 35% to 40% on strong sales of BlackBerry wireless email devices -- a device that has become the standard in large corporations and public institutions, and that is gaining traction in the consumer segment>...

Research In Motion Is on the Mend
RIMM
Filed under: Research in Motion (RIMM), Stocks to Buy The shares of Research In Motion Limited (RIMM), which I first wrote about on May 5, 2009 at a price of $77.07, rebounded last autumn, rising to about $62 from $42, following a 2010 swoon that came within a whisker of the $42 sell/stop loss.
Look for RIMM's 2011 revenue to jump 35-40% on strong sales of BlackBerry wireless e-mail devices -- a device that has become the standard in large corporations/public institutions, and that has started to gain traction in the consumer segment. Unit sales and subscriber growth remain adequate, but ave...

Is RIMM Forming The Pattern Of Death?

To View Entire Report Click Here <> Is RIMM forming the pattern of death? Research in Motion appears to be forming the “pattern of death” and it could get especially ugly for this stock if the overall market doesn’t break out of its downtrend soon. Chart patterns like the one RIMM is forming are reminiscent of August/September 2008 just before the slide. Why does the RIMM chart look so bad? The old support levels broke severely and those levels have now turned into a wall of resistance. RIMM not only gapped through its o>...

Research In Motion: Does Second Dip Create an Opportunity?
RIMM
Filed under: Research in Motion (RIMM), Stocks to Buy Unexpectedly, the shares of Research In Motion (RIMM), which I first wrote about on May 5, 2009 at a price of $77.07, formed a long-term double-bottom at/near $54 after rising to $75 earlier in 2010, but I still like the business model, for the following reasons.
Look for RIMM's 2010 revenue to jump 35-40% on strong sales of BlackBerry wireless e-mail devices -- a device that has become the standard in large corporations / public institutions, and that has started to gain traction in the consumer segment. Unit sales and subscriber growth ...

Tech Trio: Cisco (CSCO), Google (GOOG) and Research in Motion (RIMM)

Filed under: Google (GOOG), Cisco Systems (CSCO), Research in Motion (RIMM), Stocks to Buy "I think the recent selling spree will act much like a thunderstorm clearing the air. From now on, you should focus on picking up the good values dropped by the panicky sellers," says leading growth stock specialist Richard Band, who recommends a package of three technology issues: Cisco Systems (CSCO), Google (GOOG) and Research in Motion (RIMM). <>The editor of Profitable Investing, explains, "It will probably take several weeks of whippy, back-and-forth trading before the market fully regains its equil>...

Cramer on BloggingStocks: Can't trust a market too good to be true
RIMM
Filed under: Google (GOOG), Apple Inc (AAPL), Market matters, JPMorgan Chase (JPM), Research in Motion (RIMM), Goldman Sachs Group (GS), QUALCOMM Inc (QCOM), Oil, Stocks to Buy, Cramer on BloggingStocks TheStreet.com's Jim Cramer is not convinced that what was bad a week ago has suddenly turned good.
Feels almost too good to be true. Once again, did we dodge the more than 3% to 5% decline? Once again have we put the trouble behind us? Did we have just enough October scare to inoculate?...

RIMM - The "Gold" Lining
RIMM

RIMM recently got clipped following earnings that did not blow the iphone out of competitive range. RIMM's blackberry is still a solid veritable if not top brand name for the smart phone industry. Stupid pundits speculate RIMM will suffer in its margins due to competition among other brands - but this is not logical due to the incredibly strong brand RIMM already has. I like the argument that says business continue to buy RIMM over iPhone because iPhone is viewed to be more of a novelty device. RIMM also provides way more security than the iPhone and is viewed as more economical. Some ...
