SAIC (SAI) this afternoon posted results for its fiscal second quarter ended July 31 which matched Street expectations. The company posted Q2 revenue of $2.75 billion, a hair ahead of the consensus at $2.72 billion. EPS from continuing operations were 31 cents, a penny ahead of the Street.

SAIC FY Q4 Revs, EPS Top Ests; FY 2010 Guidance Beats

SAIC (SAI), which provides engineering, technology and scientific services to the federal government and other clients, today posted better than expected results for its fiscal fourth quarter ended January 31.

For the quarter, SAIC posted revenue of $2.52 billion and diluted EPS from continuing operations of 30 cents a share; the Street had expected $2.49 billion and 29 cents. Revenue was up 8% from a year ago.
