Infosys BPO Limited, the business processing outsourcing subsidiary of Infosys Technologies Limited (INFY), announced the acquisition all of the outstanding interests of McCamish Systems LLC, a business process solutions provider, based in Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States.
The acquisition is expected to be completed later this year subject to the satisfaction of certain closing conditions. Satyam Computer Services (SAY) has more than 10,000 staff above what it needs, according to Vineet Navyar, the CEO of Tech Mahindra, which won the auction to buy the fraud-stricken IT outsourcing company. Satyam Computer Services (SAY) this morning said the highest bidder for the company is Venturebay Consultants, a subsidiary of Tech Machindra. Terms call for Tech Mahindra to acquire 31% of the company for $351 million via the issuance of new shares; the company will be required to offer $1.16 a share for at least 20% of the remaining shares.
