The investment seeks daily investment results which correspond to twice the inverse of the daily performance of the Dow Jones U.S. Consumer Services index. My timing has been terrible on this investment, but the thesis is still sound. The U.S. consumer is tapped out. Unfortunately, the top 10 holdings of the index have held up extremely well. Companies like WalMart, Disney, and McDonald's have proven why they're world-class companies.
