Long term hold. SIX should recover. Here's a shorthand list: 1) It's the nation's largest regional theme park operator 2) It has a rich history 3) Management appears strong 4) There are barriers to entry preventing competition, such as high entry costs (land, brand development, etc.) 4) There could *potentially* be a buyout at this low of a price 5) a price floor seems to have developed, but no guarantees about the support. Another risky play but I see a great risk/reward tradeoff.

Six flags has flip-flopped on it's strategy every few months since Dan Snyder and Red Zone LLC took over in 2005. The stock has lost 57% of its value in that time. They have now distributed those shares(which amounted to about 10% of the outstanding stock) to their shareholders. These guys know that it's over. Six Flags announced their third quarter(which is the big money making time for theme parks) on Nov. 9th. Currently 25% of the float are shorts. Short this stock , but don't be greedy. Get out before the bounce.
