With most of its R&D expenses out of the way and with many prospective massive orders both domestically and abroad, it appears to me that Taser could repeat history in its evaluation and do a repeat of what it did in 2003. From my experience, I'd guess that a lot of investors, willing to take a chance in 2003 on this company, made some small fortunes. Jim

We are in the early stages of a long and deep recession, says Adam Lass . But that doesn’t mean savvy investors can’t make a profit. Rising unemployment and underfunded local governments is a recipe for crime in urban areas. And that means big business for companies in the self-protection industry. Adam says TASER International (Nasdaq: TASR ) stock could triple in the next 18-24 months. This from Taipan Daily: <> <> It’s certainly no challenge finding stocks under $10 these days. Unfortunately, many of them used to trade for at least twice that much. As a much needed product, and being favored by most law enforcement, with new innovative products being introduced on a fairly regular basis; I'm of the opinion that when the naked shorts are straightened out, this stock will be like "The Sky's The Limit" As it stands now, there are extremely few people who are not familiar with the product and its name could almost be a household word. <> TASER International's products protect life, providing advanced Electronic Control Devices (ECDs) for use in the law enforcement, medical, military, correctional, professional security, and personal protection markets. TASER devices use proprietary technology to incapacitate dangerous, combative, or high-risk subjects who pose a risk to law enforcement/correctional officers, innocent citizens, or themselves in a manner that is generally recognized as a safer alternative to other uses of force. TASR has come down 50% from it's high. Just when things like product liability litigation seem to ebbing the stock goes in the tank. Why?

Taser Me Bro: Taser International Reports Decent Quarter
<>It is hard to believe that it has been nearly two years since the infamous web video of the, “Don’t taze me bro,” incident occurred during a John Kerry speech at the University of Florida. The incident has received a lot of attention in that time, and has even spawned T-shirts and other various fanfare mostly in support of the rebellious student. Taser International (TASR), the company whose product was at the center of that “exchange,” reported second quarter earnings on Wednesday morning that showed the company fell just short of profitability. EPS came in at a loss of one penny ><>>...

Filed under: Taser Intl Inc (TASR), Stocks to Buy One stock that deals with those in a wrathful mood is TASER International (NASDAQ: TASR). The company makes a product that will ring the wrath right out of you. In fact, its product is at the frontline of civil obedience and is now used by police squads around the country to defend us from those wrathful criminals. <>Shares of TASR used to fly high. Not so much anymore as the stock trades at just under $5 per share. That said, the company is a leader in the field of non-lethal methods of compliance and will ride high again. 7 stocks for 7 deadly sins
Filed under: Goldman Sachs Group (GS), Toll Brothers (TOL), Taser Intl Inc (TASR), Stocks to Buy, Stocks to Sell Just for fun, I thought I'd find a stock that loosely symbolizes each of the 7 Deadly Sins -- greed, wrath, envy, pride, lust, sloth and gluttony -- to see how it fares against my momentum criteria.
Now, I'm not saying any of these companies are bad or evil. And I don't know whether our new climate of parsimony means the "greed is good" era of the 1980s is dead. What I do know is which stocks are in a position to profit today and which aren't. <>Here's a fun look at some stocks that >...
