Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) is in mortal competition with Sony (NYSE: SNE). The Xbox 360 wants to destroy the PlayStation 3. Standard & Poor’s analyst Jim Yin today cut his rating on Take-Two Interactive (TTWO) to Sell from Hold. He cut his EPS estimate for the October 2009 fiscal year to 63 cents, from $1.07; his target price drops to $9, from $11. Yin writes that the move reflects “weak 2009 consumer spending amid a global economic slowdown.”
