This morning 8/04/2008 we are continuing yesterday's POD and staying with URRE.  It is already trading in the Pre-Market with over 250,000 shares traded and is up over 6% already.

Sept. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Uranium Resources Inc. is sitting on as much as $7 billion worth of the radioactive mineral and may become a takeover target after the shares plunged 83 percent this year, along with the fuel's price .

The Lewisville, Texas-based company has proven uranium reserves in the state of about 800,000 pounds, plus an estimated 101.4 million pounds of the material in New Mexico, according to a regulatory filing . The deposits could power the world's 438 active nuclear-generating plants for a year.

This morning we are getting into URRE.  The chart seems to indicate a possible bottom in the stock,  or it could just be a slowing in the downward trend over the recent months, but either way we are looking for some upward movement in URRE:

this stock has had recent downside like all stocks in the last 30 days yellow cake is up on price also urrre has expansion property in  new mexico this company is producing 250,000 to 300,000 pounds of uranium at current rates at 28.00 per pound production cost  they are able to sell it at over double this price.

Former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan recently made comments saying that the US's oil dependancy can only be overcome with the use of nuclear power.  URRE is a company in the business of nuclear fuel.  The price is down and I expect it to rebound and "explode" (ha ha) in the long term.  The dividends are nice, too.
