ValueClick (VCLK) posted better-than-forecast Q1 results.

For the quarter, the online marketing company posted revenue of $135 million, beating its guidance of $126 million to $132 million and the Street consensus of $130.4 million. Non-GAAP EPS of 22 cents was ahead of the company forecast of 17-18 cents. GAAP EPS of 15 cents a share was 3 cents ahead of the Street at 12 cents. Adjusted EBITDA of $34.7 million was ahead of the guidance range of $29 million to $31 million.

GOOG: Canaccord Says Buy; Also Upgrades IACI, VCLK

Canaccord Adams analyst Jeff Rath this morning turned bullish on the Internet sector, raising his ratings on Google (GOOG), IAC/Interactive (IACI) and ValueClick (VCLK) to Buy. He previously had hold ratings on GOOG and IACI, and a Sell rating on VCLK.

    ValueClick (VCLK) this afternoon posted better-than-expected Q4 results.

    For the quarter, the online advertising company reported revenue of $150.1 million and non-GAAP profits of 16 cents a share. Guidance had been for $140 million to $145 million and 15-16 cents. The Street consensus was $142.3 million and 15 cents.  Revenues were down 14.6% from a year earlier. On a GAAP basis, the company lost $261.2 million or $3.01 a share, including a pre-tax $327 million goodwill writedown.
