Not surprised VG is broken; perhaps they should follow AIGs lead and start cutting back on executive perks and unecessary expenses associated with operating costs. I plan on keeping an eye on them and see where they are going besides the holding pattern.

Short term negative - I believe that the enetry level is too low to start similar business so why pay VG for a take over for one of the Telecoms and for investors - where is the profit?

Details on Vonage coming Feb. 13th, this is going to be a make or break moment for the next 6 months. All of tech is getting hit, but VG did not expect to realise profits until Q1 '08. The service is stellar and if run rates can be trimmed and real profits put on the table, you are looking at a serious contender or a definite purchase by someone who knows this company is pretty much *the* VOIP company with the most general penetration.
I rate this as a high risk since even though they have settled most of the outstanding legal issues, they have little cash on hand and seem to be plag...

sooner or later, SOMEONE will have to realize that Vonage *created* the entire consumer VOIP space ... including Comcast digital voice. this stock's story has been a mockery of a travesty of an enigma wrapped in a riddle; the consequence of personal grudges against the founders.

Voange (VG) shares are down hard this morning following the company’s Q3 earnings report. For the quarter, the company posted revenue of $222 million, down 2% year-over-year, and up 1% sequentially. Non-GAAP profits were $5 million, or 3 cents a share, up from a loss of $8 million a year ago. AT&T To Allow Apple iPhone VoIP Apps On Wireless Network

AT&T (T) this afternoon said it has taken steps to allow Apple (AAPL) to enable voice over IP applications on the iPhone to run on AT&T’s wireless network. Previously, VoIP apps on the iPhone were only enabled via WiFi.
