VIP is still a buy, the market is effecting it's share price, however this is not directly related to the company. Many hedge funds and institutions have been selling to free up capital which has been dragging down the market in the last few weeks which is causing a surplus of excellent priced stocks out there. VIP is at a bargain price to buy and hold as it will get a lot better over the long run.
