Shares of Vanda Pharma (NASDAQ:VNDA) soared by nearly nine-fold in after-hours trading Wednesday evening as Fanapt (iloperidone) was approved by the FDA for the acute treatment of adult patients with schizophrenia. VNDA will recover.  Their insomnia drug work will receive an approval at some point in the not so distant future.  This is an opportunity to buy cheap.  3+ month options might also be a great idea to leverage the gains with little risk.
