"Investors have given up on the water industry -- the sector has fallen 60% -- but the best firms have hardly missed a beat," says utility sector specialist Roger Conrad.

In Personal Finance, the advisor reviews the outlook for the sector and two of his favorite stocks -- American Water Works (NYSE: AWK) and Aqua America (NYSE: WTR).

good time to BUY WTR!  Computershare offers a nice direct stock purchase plan with no purchasing charges.  I've been buying monthly & so far so good.  WTR has been around for several decades & is dedicated to aggressively gathering as many water & waste utilties as possible.  If their dividend seems low, the previous point is one of the reasons why.  They are slowly growing.  If you're the type of investor that's looking for a quick turnaround, stay away from WTR.  longterm investors ONLY
