WWY is a great pick in a pre-depression market. Their products have little dependence on the economic turmoils because they cost so little. Also, their products have almost a 0% rate of return because they are considered "not worth the time" returning.

Their products are also highly consumable, and like coke...somewhat addictive in nature.

Looking through the list of top % gainers on the NYSE this afternoon, in search of a new stock to write up here on the blog, I came across a familiar name that I haven't evaluated here but I have always thought of as a 'classical' growth stock story. The credit crunch is not going away, and as a result, there has been a sharp fall-off in leveraged buyouts (LBOs). Basically, only relatively small LBOs -- between $1 billion to $2 billion -- are getting done.
