Should hold out to make purchases once the little (and some big) fish die off. It will keep buying in emerging markets.

Another Good Company in a bad industry  07/11/08
Hasn't been sucked into bad markets.  Made a series of very small acquistions and is hopefully smart enough to pick up some of the emerging market assets that larger Banks like Citigroup, RBS, etc. could potential have to sell to raise cash if the market stays down for a while.

BNS never seems to get sucked into the Enron/ABCP type of crap situations. They also appear to have very low operating expenses ie. no marble floors in the branches around here.
