Can a stock go down forever? 08/29/08

Suppose it is possible. SIL has dropped almost in a straight line since March. Unless SIL is headed for bankruptcy, this selloff appears to be way overdone. Not the best environment to go long precious metals, something stinks here but maybe it's just the shorts.

It does carry some risk being in Bolivia and its weighed down for the next two years on hedges and options it was required to write to gain funding for its mine.
