i held in there on 911 and lost 100k market bounced back a little. during the big stockdrop in august 2008 i sold most of my portfolio keeping only blue chip co. jnj, xom, pg, exc, cop.value droped only 30k you cant make any money on bank cds, only have 50k left to reinvest right now cause bank cds mature in 6 months. i see no signs of the economy getting better right now, other than bargain sh...
