My name is Tom Jandt, I'm the Founder of The Private Client Group, a boutique investment banking and wealth management firm based in Irvine, CA., offering securities through AIS Financial, Inc., member FINRA/SIPC and also serve as the EVP of Rubicon Financial, Inc., a public company.
I have been a broker since 1992 and founded The Private Client Group in January of 1995. I used to work for a large "wire house" broker as a top producer, but found that the corporate idea of risk management was to put all a client's funds into their own ideas, rather than to seek new and innovative investment opportunities outside of their sphere of financial influence. Typically, when you limit your options for investment, your results are limited too.
I started in this business when I was 22, right out of college (Cal Poly SLO) and have always been very aggressive in my approach. I consider myself to be an absolute expert at "wealth creation" and investment banking, however, I still manage assets on the conservative side as well, but that's not as exciting. My heart is where opportunity is...identifying a risk worth taking and then putting all my effort into identifying an entry point on the stock, building a huge position and accumulating that investment until it ripens into an exceptional return. You might lose a few taking risks this way, but when you win a few, you cream the competition for an "overall" return. More importantly, I'm not interested in making "better" returns for my clients, I want to change their net worth...and that is where my pride and passion is, my ability to create wealth for many whom might not otherwise have had the opportunity to live a life of privilege.
