As with MBI and ABK we should start seeing some confidence restored in the sector. Not that there inst plenty to be worried about or that it will be a fast road to recovery, but I think all the pieces are there, and the signs are looking good. I have MBI, ABK and MTG in my picks.

ABK and MBI are going to make contrarians and those that get in shortly some serious gains. Takes some stomach to watch the fluctuations, but the trend is looking nice for both. What percentage of the price of these stocks is a reflection of lack of confidence in the greater financials market, rather then the health of these two stocks individually? I think the sandbag on the necks of both of these truly is confidence. Once these two see a continued trend of daily gains we will see a rapid valuation in both as confidence is restored. Thoughts?

I agree with John Pantic, with regards to being a trader and not an investor for the $1000. Use that to build yourself a base that you can start investing with for more long term stability and diversity. The Financials are right now cheap and on the rise.
