they had $550 billion in investments after writeowns, in the fixed income market maybe more than $350 billion of this which is rising at about 30-49% every quarter with the stimulus..now when that reaches real conditions again without stimulus, the value will start coming down. If they are abe to sell their asian and other international businesses for $20 billion odd, nothing like it... else ag...

The funding is definitely going to boomerang on them as these billions in no way can be treated on par with equity holders by the market. But the point is that now that MTM problems are past, the encouraging signs for fund raising and as you point out, the intention of the govts to sell might well work wonders..so why do you propose that their current earnings are not honestly reflected in the ...

We are very near the cyclical dip as there are no buybacks either..but it is a good stock to own because 50% of its revenue comes from consulting and services and 50% from hardware. It is on 45 of the top 50 Fortune companies and has more than a 100 $50m accounts in services alone..
